Day 1

Departure from Diégo at 8h, arrival at the east at 10h30.

From 11h to 17h30, visit in foot of the Benavony circuit, night in bungalow.

Day 2

Departure from the East Ankarana in VTT until the campement of  americans, about 3h (flat track and the half toe the shade).

In the begening of  the afternoon, visit of the 2ènd canyon, the underground cave of 'Andrafiabe and the Cathedrale about 3h).

In the end of the day bathing at the underground cave of potamochères (20mn to go).

Night in bivouac.

Day 3

Departure for the 1st canyon (2h to go).

13h30 visit of the 3rd canyon about 2h aller.

Bathing - nuit bivouac.

Day 4

7h. Departure to Diego in 4x4 about 5h or to sur Ankarana Est in VTT in 3h  then Diego in 4x4.

- if the return is by  Ankify; about 4h30 in 4x4 from the West

- if return by the Mitsio islands, to foresee 2 nights in fast boat (about 2h) to reach the Mitsio Islands and 2h to Nosy-be.

Night in  bivouac.

VTT Cape Of Amber

Day 1

Départ de Diégo à 6h avec un trajet d’environ 8h [en traversant le village d’Anamakia (avec ses mangues, les meilleures de l’île), une vue sur la plus grande salinière de l’île (beau cliché), forêt de baobabs], des villages à traverser, passage dans la mangrove, vue sur le canal de Mozambique.

Nous voilà au bout , à l’extrême nord de la grande île avec son phare, sa petite plage pour quelques baignades.

Nuit en bivouac.

Jour 2

Retour en V.T.T ou par 4x4

Nota : Possibilité de passer par la baie du courrier pour visiter Windsor Castel (vue de 360° à 400m d’altitude) avec 1 nuit supplémentaire.

Remarque: Visite de mai à novembre.

From Ivovona to Ambilo

V.T.T – Circuit Diégo-Ambilo-Mahavanona-Diégo en 1 jour

Départ à 6h de Diégo pour un trajet d’environ 3-4h avec quelques marches dans des parties sablonneuses.

Paysage très varié d’Ambodivahibé, Ampasindava, le long de la côte Est. Au bout de ce trajet un arrêt s’impose au niveau des baobabs Suarenzis se trouvant sur un promontoire entouré de rizières – possibilité de baignade.

Puis environ 20mn de piste pour rejoindre la route nationale et 1h à 1h30 pour arriver à Diégo.

V.T.T (Wild Coast) From Diego to Andranofanjava 3n/4d (autonomy in provision)

(between the Mountain of Amber and the Channel of Mozambique)

Day 1

A vehicle puts down us to Mangoko about 1h30. We continue in VTT bay passing by isolateds villages: Andranomavo, Mananara, Melivato, Ironona about 30km along the channel of Mozambique.

Night in traditional house.

Day 2

Meeting with villagers, beach.

Day 3

Nous reprenons la piste de retour vers Diégo pour environ 2h de VTT et visite de la forêt, de sa faune ; nuit au village.

We will take again the back track toward Diégo for about 2h of VTT and visit of the forest, of his/her/its faune; night to the village

Day 4

We take a detour for the village of Ampasindava, in front of the Haras islands,.

At 14h departure for Diégo.

Nota : The aspect of this circuit leans on a total autonomy (restocking and provisions there  in villages).
